The inspiration for Endometriosis Awareness Atlantic came about after my first excision surgery in July 2020. During recovery, I was reading through endo forums and browsing websites that featured information for other provinces in Canada. I realized there was little to no mention of my surgeon or the medical support network that helped and continues to help me with my endometriosis journey. And so, Endometriosis Awareness Atlantic was born out of the endo community's need for inspiration and support.

I'm determined to make an impact by raising awareness and resources. My core goals are to provide relevant, local information and build a community for those living in the Atlantic provinces diagnosed with endometriosis. Misinformation can cause harm and confusion. I'm dedicated to consistently fact-checking and only using credible sources for the most up-to-date information possible.
